7 PRs. 🔥

This is the kind of stuff that makes me ridiculously proud as a coach.

My clients consistently hit PR’s week after week, and this workout was no different. Seven personal records in a single session.

But the number itself isn’t even my favourite part.

It’s the consistency behind it. Showing up, putting in the work, following the program, and trusting the process.

That’s what good coaching should do.

I’m not interested in throwing random workouts at you and hoping for the best. I want to give you a structured plan, track your progress, make adjustments when needed, and help you keep moving forward.

And when the results start stacking up?

That’s the payoff.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start making measurable progress, Iron Will Training is accepting new online coaching clients. Shoot me a DM and let’s set up a free, no obligation consultation.

No cookie-cutter programs. No bu****it. Just a plan built around you and the work required to get where you want to go.

Nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective.

I work full time, run Iron Will Training, and train 6 days a week. The way I stay consistent isn’t by having unlimited time or motivation.

I meal prep.

A couple hours each week gets breakfast, lunch and pre-workout meals portioned and ready to go. That takes a lot of the decision-making out of the week and leaves me some flexibility for dinner and my post-workout meal.

It’s also a habit I encourage my clients to adopt. Not because meal prep has to be perfect, but because having your food ready makes staying consistent a hell of a lot easier.

I’m currently eating in a modest deficit, but on harder training days, I’ll eat at maintenance or slightly above.

The goal isn’t to eat as little as possible. It’s to eat enough to support the work you’re putting in while still moving toward your goal.

Consistency beats perfection. Every time.

If you’re constantly hungry while trying to lose fat, there’s a good chance you’re dieting... not actually nourishing yourself.

Start with the basics:

🥩 Prioritize protein
🥔 Don’t be afraid of carbs
🥦 Add more whole foods
đź’§ Drink more water

A big part of sustainable nutrition is the **90/10 rule**.

Aim to make solid choices 90% of the time, and leave room for the foods you enjoy the other 10%.

You don’t need another detox, cleanse, or “fat-burning” supplement.

You need a nutrition approach that fits your life and habits you can actually maintain.

Because the best plan isn’t the one that works for 14 days.

It’s the one you can still follow months and years from now.

I didn’t wake up this morning expecting to set multiple PRs.
I just expected to do the work.
That’s the difference.
Results aren’t earned on the day you hit a personal best. They’re earned on the dozens of days nobody sees, when you show up anyway.
That’s the mindset I coach.
I’ve got room for 3 more clients who are done making excuses and ready to put in the work.
DM me. Let’s get started.

This is the part most people don’t see.

The planning. The programming. The adjustments that happen behind the scenes to make sure a plan actually fits the person doing it.

At Iron Will Training, I don’t believe in handing someone a random workout and calling it coaching.

Every client gets a plan built around their goals, experience, lifestyle, and what they’re realistically able to do.

I use Trainerize — one of the leading platforms in the fitness industry — to deliver workouts, track progress, communicate, and keep everything organized in one place.

Because great results don’t come from guessing. They come from having a plan and executing it consistently.

Monday isn’t a fresh start.

It’s a reminder that nobody is coming to do the work for you.

You don’t need to “crush” the week.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to keep the promises you make to yourself.

One workout.
One better meal.
One extra walk.
One decision at a time.

Those small choices add up far more than waiting for the perfect Monday.

If you’re 35+ and tired of starting over, Iron Will Training is built around sustainable fitness and nutrition that actually fits real life.

I’ve got room for **3 more online coaching clients.** If you’re ready to stop chasing quick fixes and start building habits that last, send me a DM.

Unpopular opinion:

The fitness industry spends way too much time convincing people they’re not enough.

Not lean enough.
Not disciplined enough.
Not motivated enough.

Maybe the problem isn’t you.

Maybe you’ve just been sold programs that were never built to fit your life.

Fitness shouldn’t make you feel guilty. It should make you feel capable.

That’s the standard I’m chasing.

I missed yesterday’s post, and I’m completely okay with that.
My daughter graduated Grade 8, and spending the day celebrating with her was more important than posting on Instagram.
One thing I believe wholeheartedly is that training should make your life better. It shouldn’t be your life.
Getting stronger, eating well, and taking care of yourself should give you more energy for the people and moments that matter most, not pull you away from them.
The gym was there today. Social media was there today.
Yesterday was about being Dad.
That’s a trade I’ll make every single time.
Now it’s back to work.

Chasing bigger numbers is tempting.
But good form will always matter more than heavy weight.
The goal isn’t just to get stronger today. It’s to stay healthy enough to keep getting stronger for years.
Injury prevention isn’t flashy, but it’s one of the smartest investments you can make in your fitness.
Train smart. The strength will come.
Have you ever had an injury that changed the way you train?

One thing recovery taught me is that real change isn’t built overnight.
It’s built through the small choices you make every day, especially on the days you don’t feel like making them.
Fitness isn’t much different.
You don’t need the perfect program, the perfect diet, or endless motivation. You need consistency. You need patience. You need to keep showing up, even when progress feels slower than you’d like.
That’s the approach I take with my own training, and it’s the approach I’ll always coach.
My goal with this page is simple: to share what I’ve learned through lived experience, education, and years of rebuilding my life one day at a time.
If you’re here to build a stronger body, a healthier mindset, or simply become a better version of yourself, you’re in the right place.
What’s one goal you’re working toward right now? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear it.
