For all the others out there who live for the view, we’d like to wish you a happy International Mountain Day 🤙🏼

We’re already planning the next trip back up to Algonquin Park and our most recent trip has us feeling a little nostalgic. There’s something about waking up early to capture that morning sunrise off a lake that can’t be beat. We know, the struggle can be real, especially when you’re all wrapped up and cozy in your sleeping, but it’s always worth it! On that note, our next trip might look a little more snow filled so we’ll see if we can get out of the tent to capture the early morning glow.

One thing’s for certain, the mountains will always win.

We made it to Slant Rock, even if it was under unforeseen circumstances. 🪨 Terrible weather, more snow than anticipated, a couple of slips into water, and a campground just 50 yards away from Slant Rock became home for an evening. One takeaway we have from this trip is that if things don’t go to plan, and “sh*t happens”, the mountains will be there waiting for another day. It’s ok to make adjustments, change your plans and have a plan B. Looking forward to getting back up to this section of the park, it was incredible! See you soon, Adirondacks!

Late fall on the Western Uplands Trail, and we’re talking pure rugged Algonquin vibes 🏕️ This 34 km loop to Maggie Lake and beyond is all rolling hills, thick hardwood forest, and that raw, untouched backcountry feel. Expect stream crossings, lake views that stop you in your tracks, and enough varied terrain to keep you on your toes. Campsites pop up in all the right spots—Maggie Lake especially, where the fall colors hit different, bouncing off the water. It’s prime time for anyone looking to get deep into Algonquin’s remote corners when the crowds thin out.

The trail breaks down into three loops with increasing distance, so there’s a trip here for everyone, from weekend warriors to die-hard trekkers. Late fall means cooler temps, shorter days, and yeah, maybe even some early snow dusting the trails. Dress right, pack smart, and get ready for that gnarly Algonquin wilderness experience.

It was snowliage season in the Adirondacks last week and we caught the tail end of the magical moment, just before all the leaves were gone. Can’t wait to go back for the full winter version! 🏔️

Spent an incredible weekend at the Ride Camp Ride event! The Hubba Hubba tent was a total game-changer—easy to set up, super lightweight, and kept us cozy through the night. We love the handlebar clip system that holds strong, no matter how rough the roads are. Did we mention it also looks amazing set up in the bike. 10/10 system and would highly recommend as your bikepacking tent setup. 🏕️🚵🏼🤙🏼

🏕️ Even the best of things need maintenance and care, so this is your friendly reminder to seal up those seams before the rain and snow season hits. 🤓 We used on our favourite tents, which did an amazing job to cover all of those potential leaky spots. That being said, we’re ready for fall and winter adventures. * Pro tip, find yourself a good helper like ! 🦮
