❌ You don’t need to be flexible to squat like this.
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:
“I can’t squat like that.”
My response?
You don’t have to… yet.
A deep squat is a skill that can be developed with patience and consistency.
Using yoga blocks gives your body the support it needs while your ankles, hips, knees, and nervous system gradually adapt to the position. As your mobility improves, you simply reduce the height until one day, the squat feels natural.
Practicing a deep squat can help:
• Improve hip, ankle, and knee mobility
• Build strength and stability in your end ranges
• Make everyday movements easier
• Keep you moving well as you age
Don’t compare your starting point to someone else’s finish line.
Meet your body where it is today, and give it the opportunity to improve.
✨ Save this post and spend just a few minutes practicing each day. Small, consistent steps lead to lasting change.
