Nanaimo Hazelwood Sr. B Timbermen

Men’s Field Lacrosse League registration has officially opened for the 2026 season, here’s the info:

Where: Arbutus Meadows Turf Facility, worth the short drive and staying dry instead of getting rained out every week.

When: Wednesday nights from Sept 30th to Nov 18th. Every team gets 6 regular season games and 2 playoff games, game slots are 7:00-8:15 and 8:15-9:30

Cost: $95/player

Every registered player with be entered into a draft to try and keep the teams as even as possible.

Open to everyone aged 16+, all skill levels welcome, please share with anyone you think might be interested.

Your Hazelwood Senior B Timbermen split the weekend.

On Saturday they took care of business against a visiting short handed New West Salmonbellies squad by a final score of 26-1, before traveling to Coquitlam on Sunday to take on the bandits where we lost by a final score of 10-4.

Your Hazelwood Construction Services Player of the Games were:

#13 Will Cookman - In a game where literally every Nanaimo player had a point there was plenty to choose from but it goes to Little W***y who chipped in 1 goal and 1 assist on Saturday.

#2 Bryson Weberg - In a game where not much was going right for the Tmen, Weebs stepped up and defended his teammates in a spirited bout, claiming the unanimous decision.

The boys travel to North Shore this coming Sunday before returning home as North Shore comes to us Friday July 10th 730pm at Frank Crane, see you then!

Your Hazelwood Sr B Timbermen traveled to the mainland Friday night short handed and took on the North Shore Indians, it was a back and forth match until the 3rd period where the Indians outscored the Tmen 6-3 and ultimately ended 12-7.

Your Hazelwood Construction Services Player of the Game goes to #12 Karson Gregory who was a defensive force and breakout machine.

Your Hazelwood Tmen return home this Saturday June 27th to take on the visiting New West Salmonbellies at 730pm at NIC, see you all then!

Your Hazelwood Sr B Timbermen drop another heart breaker at home Friday night, after going back and forth all night the visiting North Shore Indians pulled away at the end to cement the 10-7 win.

Your Hazelwood Construction Services Player of the Game goes to #7 West Cateaux who was like a hungry hungry hippo scooping up all the loose balls out there and even chipped in a big goal in transition.

The boys don't have to wait long to get revenge as they head to North Shore this coming Friday before returning home Saturday June 27th to take on the visiting New West Salmonbellies.

The haters said this day would never come, game after game, season after season, they said there was no chance. Well tomorrow night they can eat their words.
