The summer is slipping by which means the new Alberta Floor Curling season is soon the start. Mundare has the first tournament of this year on September 2, 2026. Always a very enjoyable day at Mundare. Can’t wait to get things kicked off.

The 2026 TOURNAMENT packages have been sent out. Contains all the necessary forms for your tournaments. Thank you to the volunteers that helped put them all together. We are close to the first tournament that will be held in Mundare September 2, 2026.

We are into August and getting closer to the new Floor Curling season. Ensure to get your memberships soon so the
membership cards can be printed and distributed. Have a great August everyone.

The 2025-2026 AFCA Floor Curling Season was a great success. Thank you again to all the 500 members that play and compete in the AFCA tournaments. Without you all it is not possible. AFCA tries to give money back each year to our Clubs. This year we’re able to mail out a $1200.00 Cheque to each of our 22 clubs.
Can’t wait for next season to start. Have a great summer everyone.

This years Booklet is up to date and ready for printing. We will giving each club a copy once it is completed but anyone can view or print off the website.

With floor curling done for the next couple months let’s post some pictures of your favorite golf courses. Email pictures to [email protected]. Ensure to let us know which course it is and why you enjoy it so much.

Our schedule is complete for the 2026-2027 season. We set the AFCA finals for May 15-16, 2027. Get ahold of your contact person for your club if you want to enter any tournaments.

Nice to have all this rain. Farmers needed rain, but today is the first day this “summer” we had to cancel golfing because of it. Can’t wait to get more warm weather and hit the course. Take care everyone.
