Before every game, we hung one flag in our dressing room.

Not for decoration.
For perspective.

It reminded every player that the name on the front of the jersey represents something far greater than the name on the back. It represented our families, our heritage, those who came before us, and every Greek around the world who believes in this program.

Before a word was spoken...
Before a strategy was drawn...
Before we stepped onto the floor...

We looked at that flag.

It grounded us. It united us. It reminded us why we were willing to sacrifice, to battle, and to leave everything on the floor for each other.

Two teams.
One flag.
One nation.

And now, two World Championships.

People see two trophies.

I see my brother.

What we've built was never forged in boardrooms or measured by medals. It was built through trust, countless conversations, impossible goals, long nights, and an unwavering belief that together we could create something bigger than ourselves.

To walk this journey alongside Manny Mavroudis has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

None of this was ever for us.

It was always for the players. The fans. The next generation. The sport we love.

Today, we're proud to celebrate double gold, four medals in our last three world championships, and a federation that's inspiring people around the world.

The trophies will collect dust one day.

The friendships, the respect, and the journey we share never will.
