Day 20 of the Nervous System Challenge is the Frontal-Occipital Hold.

Place one hand on your forehead and the other at the base of your skull. Hold for 60-90 seconds, breathing slowly and deeply through the nose.

This very simple hold calms the body’s stress response, supports emotional regulation, and brings you back into the present moment.

Give it a try next time you feel scattered or wound up, sixty seconds is all it takes to come back to yourself.

In Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient Japanese healing art, each finger is connected to a different emotion. The index finger holds fear.

The practice is simple: gently hold your index finger with your opposite hand, breathe, and repeat a mantra. That gentle, sustained touch is believed to help move stagnant energy and support the release of fear held in the body.

Today we’re pairing this with Faith & Security, applied first, then holding the index finger while we breathe and repeat our mantra.

Fear doesn’t always need to be understood to be released. Sometimes it just needs somewhere to go.

Don’t try to think your way out of that fear. It was never a thinking problem to begin with.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, fear is held by the Kidney and its paired organ, the Bladder, together known as the Water element. When fear turns irrational, showing up with nothing actually threatening you, the Bladder meridian is where this work happens, the longest meridian in the body, running the full length of your back.

Bring your attention to your mid to lower back. Using the back of your wrists or your palms, gently tap your mid back and move downwards. With each pass, imagine the fear melting away 🌊

This tapping exercise helps wake the connective tissue back up. Unlike shaking, which discharges big activation, tapping works more gently, it reconnects you to your body through touch and rhythm, helping pull you out of freeze or flight and back into the present moment.

You can do this seated, at your desk, in the car, anywhere you notice yourself going quiet on the inside.

Share it with someone who needs it ♥️

Before a feeling has a name, it has a sensation. A pull in your chest. A heaviness in your stomach. A tightness you can’t quite place yet. That vague, wordless signal is called the felt sense, and it’s where emotion actually starts, before your mind labels it as anxiety, sadness, or anger.

This practice is simple: close your eyes, and just tune into what’s arising in your body right now. Not the story behind it.

You don’t have to understand it yet. You simply have to notice it’s there.

That noticing is the beginning of actually working with it 🤍

Half of what’s sitting in your cabinet right now was picked because it worked for someone else, not because anyone checked if it works for you.

That’s the gap most supplement advice skips. A study tells you what worked on average. It doesn’t tell you what your body actually needs.

Drop a 🙋 if you’ve got one of these sitting there right now. And if you’re curious what would actually work for you, that’s exactly what bioresonance testing is built to find.

Helloooo if you’re new here, I’m Christina.

I’m Lebanese Canadian, and I’ve been walking this path since I was 17, long before I had a name for it. By 19 I was formally studying holistic health, and it’s been the throughline of my life since.

I love science as much as I love mysticism. I bring a pendulum with me wherever I go. And I’ve spent years learning how the body works and how the subconscious, the nervous system, and the body’s own signals shape the patterns we can’t think our way out of.

I’m a Naturopath and Holistic Health Practitioner, working through subconscious, somatic, meridian, naturopathic and sound-based methods, in person in Montreal and Lebanon and online with clients worldwide.

If you’re new here, welcome. I post about the parts of healing that don’t show up on a lab test as much as the ones that do. Follow along for more ✨

Don’t set a new goal this week. Set down the old version of yourself first.

Swipe through before you write anything down this week. What keeps repeating usually comes down to a program running underneath it, out of view, in the subconscious mind. Willpower doesn’t touch that. It just keeps running whatever it was taught to run.

I watch this shift constantly in the work I do one on one. Once someone clears what’s actually underneath the pattern, the goal stops taking so much effort to hold onto. It sticks.

If this sounds like where you’re at, DM me ALIGN and let’s find out what’s actually running the show.

A little acupressure facial massage for today’s challenge exercise!

• Large intestine: letting go
• Bladder: releasing fear
• Stomach: releasing worry

You can stimulate each point by pressing or circling the area 3-4x.

Repeat 3 times and let us know how it feels!
