Behind every Women’s Leadership Lab cohort are the conversations you don’t see. The honest ones, the challenging ones, and the ones that change how women show up at work and in their careers.

Building Frank Women’s Leadership has been one of the most meaningful and challenging journeys of my career.
What started as a simple idea to create more honest conversations around leadership, ambition, and growth has evolved into something far greater than I ever imagined. Today, it’s a community of thoughtful, driven, and generous women who continue to inspire me every single day.
I’m honoured to share that I’ve been nominated for a “Promie” (ProMontreal Entrepreneur Hub Award), recognizing Jewish entrepreneurs in Montreal.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting Jessica Weiss at the Frank Book Club to discuss her book “Happiness Works” and the conversation challenged many of the traditional ideas we have about leadership.
One of the biggest takeaways from our discussion was this: happiness at work is not a reward for success, it’s a driver of success. Leaders often focus on results first and culture second, but the research and experience Jessica shared suggest that when people feel trusted, connected & valued, performance follows.
A few leadership lessons that stayed with our group:
• Trust is built in small moments, not big speeches. Consistency, transparency, and follow-through matter more than grand gestures.
• Leaders are culture creators whether they realize it or not. Your mood, your reactions, and your behavior set the tone for your team every day.
• Happiness at work does not mean everything is easy or positive. It means people feel safe to speak up, take risks, fail & grow.
