🇨🇦Trump’s new tariffs - what does it mean for the Canadian equestrian industry?🐎
The U.S. has imposed a 25% tariff on key Canadian imports, directly impacting equestrians, businesses, and farms across the country. This means higher costs for essential products like tack, feed, and equipment — affecting everyone in our industry.
But we are not powerless. We can take action to protect our economy, our businesses, and our sport by choosing to invest in Canadian-made products and services.
HOW CANADIANS CAN FIGHT BACK 💪
🍁Prioritize Canadian-made products – Support local brands for tack, supplements, and equipment.
🍁Source from Canadian suppliers – Ask your local tack shops and retailers to stock Canadian alternatives.
🍁Strengthen our local equestrian economy – Work with Canadian vets, farriers, trainers, and businesses.
🍁Raise awareness – Educate others on the impact of these tariffs and encourage them to buy Canadian.
Canada’s equestrian industry is resilient, innovative, and strong. Let’s stand together and keep our investments where they belong—right here at home 🇨🇦🐎
As a proudly Canadian owned and based company, let me make something very clear : we stand firmly against Trump—not only for his economic policies but also for his divisive and harmful ideology. We are committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals, marginalized communities, and everyone in between. Our farm is a safe space where respect, equality, and acceptance are non-negotiable values.
Be better, do better, fight harder💪🏼
