Wil Jobson made a lasting mark on surfboard design when he created the Twinzer in 1988, rethinking the traditional twin-fin by adding two smaller forward fins ahead of the main fins. The design was intended to improve water flow, speed and control while keeping the loose, fast feeling of a twin. Martin Potter helped prove its performance on the world stage, and decades later shapers continue to refine Jobson’s unconventional idea. His Twinzer remains one of the great examples of a shaper challenging the accepted formula and pushing surfboard design forward.

Malcolm and Duncan Campbell (Campbell Brothers Surfboards) changed surfboard design forever with the development of the Bonzer in the early 1970s. Their innovative approach to bottom contours, channels, and fin design created a new path for speed, control, and rail-to-rail surfing. The Campbell Brothers became hugely influential in the evolution of alternative surfboards, surfboard shaping, and modern fin systems, inspiring generations of shapers and surfers. More than 50 years later, the Bonzer remains one of the most important designs in surfboard history.
