Day 2 Recap

What a day. SMASH battled hard in a close 3–2 loss to the RSR Flames, then responded with heart, grit, and our best game of the tournament — a 6–0 win over Ottawa Elite.

We ended the weekend 1–3 and won’t be moving on to medal play, but this group showed resilience, and pride all season long.

That’s a wrap on the season! Huge thank‑you to our families, friends, and supporters. Your energy, encouragement, and belief in our team was instrumental to our successful season!

Yesterday is behind us and today we shift our focus to the RSR Flames who we play at 1:35 PM and then Ottawa Elite at 5:55 PM, both again at Arena Sainte‑Julie and can be viewed on Livebarn.

Congratulations to the Lethbridge U21A Turbo Rattlers on their championship win at the Rocky Mountain Rumble Ringette Tournament. The April 26th exhibition games against Medicine Hat SMASH proved to be valuable preparation, as Lethbridge went undefeated (5–0) and capped off the weekend with a 4–2 victory over the Alberta Avalanche in the gold medal game.
