COACHING UPDATE

The U13 AAA Tigers are announcing that Head Coach Tanner Barton has decided to step away from the program ahead of the 2026/27 season. The Tigers are saddened by Tanners recent departure but wish him nothing but great fortune on this next journey in his life!

Tanner was named the first head coach in U13 AAA program history after leading the U13 AA Medicine Hat Hounds to a South Division Championship in 2024/25. In his first year with the AAA program, Tanner and the Tigers went 16-11-3 while also winning the West Central Challenge in Kindersley, SK. We as a team thank Tanner for everything he contributed to building what is only the beginning of future success for the Southeast Tigers! THANK YOU TANNER! 🐯

The Tigers are also happy to announce that Keegan Bartram will take over as Head Coach for the upcoming season!

Keegan is in his 6th season coaching elite hockey and this will be his 3rd season as a Head Coach here in Medicine Hat! He has been apart of two South Division Championship clubs at the U18 AA & U13 AA levels and had a small stint with the WHLs Lethbridge Hurricanes as a Video Coach for their 2025 playoff run to the Eastern Conference Final. He has worked closely with Tanner the past two seasons in building the U13 AAA program. Keegan brings a different perspective into his coaching with him being a hockey commentator/analyst for many high level programs/organizations. We the Tigers would like to welcome back Keegan and congratulate him on this new role! 🐯

Tigers training camp begins Sept 1!

2026/27 SCHEDULE RELEASE!! 🐯

Officially 1-Month till WE ARE BACK! 🐯

The 2026/27 Main Camp schedule is here and it is subject to change (keep eyes on MHMHA page for changes) but for as of right now! Here is how the 2 week camp will look!

Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday (Sep 1 - 3)
Each group will play a total of 3 games with releases and Black/White rosters to be determined following those games!

Saturday (Sep 5)
Black vs White (Releases to happen following the game)
Extended Roster players are to report to practice on Tuesday!

Tuesday & Thursday (Sep 8 & 10)
Practice with Extended Roster

Friday - Sunday (Sep 11 - 13)
3 Pre-Season games will take place in Okotoks, AB
Final Releases and Roster Finalization will follow the last game!

The U13AAA Southeast Tigers are proud to announce the signing of forward Fischer Sprunger for the 2025-2026 season. Fischer had 69 goals and 47 assists in 24 games last year for the U11AA Medicine Hat Hounds. Fischer also had 8 goals and 7 assists in 8 games with the U13AA Medicine Hat Hounds.
