MLB Pitch Hit & Run - Meadow Lake

With ball season starting up, PITCH HIT & RUN, the OFFICIAL skills competition of Major League Baseball, will be making a return to Meadow Lake!

2026 marks the 50th anniversary of Pitch Hit & Run events being hosted throughout North America and overseas!

This is a perfect opportunity to let your child feel like a pro as they test out their Major League skills and compete for a chance to become our LOCAL CHAMPIONS and an opportunity to advance to compete for an all expenses paid trip to the World Series!

📢 Two of our very own LOCAL CHAMPIONS have qualified to move on to the next level and participate in the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS on August 13 hosted at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, ON, by the Toronto Blue Jays! 🐦

SUTTER BECK was our 9/10 baseball division LOCAL CHAMPION ⚾️

Sutter finished his second year of 11U with Meadow Lake Minor Ball with the Meadow Lake Red Sox and also plays for the 11U Meadow Lake Sox provincial team.

Congrats Sutter! 🎉

ASHER OYSTRICK was our 7/8 baseball division LOCAL CHAMPION ⚾️

Asher finished his last year of Senior Rally Cap with Meadow Lake Minor Ball this year and also played for the 9U Meadow Lake Sox.

Lots of talent was on display and we're excited to see everyone continue to develop throughout their years with Meadow Lake Minor Ball!

Scores are being tallied and we will announce our local age division winners after they are submitted!

Today's Pitch Hit Run event will take place on Diamond 6 (softball diamond) from 9:30 -10:30 so pop on over and put your skills to the test!

Make sure that you visit the green concession booth for your free pancake breakfast first!

Our first Pitch Hit & Run event takes place TOMORROW (Wednesday June 25) BETWEEN 5:30 and 6:30 pm on DIAMOND 4!

If you haven't registered yet there will be a walk up registration available but save yourself some time and get it done in advance!

Athletes will receive an individual score card they they are to keep with them throughout the 3 events.

They will be tested on their pitching (5 pitches), hitting (5 hits), and running (2 attempts). The results will be recorded on their score card and their total combined score from all 3 events will be submitted.

We'll see you on the diamond!
