How about not killing rodents at all. Secure your home or business. That's a responsible and humane way.

This pertains to shelters and rescues. There have been a number of groups and a couple shelters that have been deceptive and undermining over the years.

Some rescues have been great and very helpful. You have to get through the terrible ones along the animal welfare journey.

I've had to be very careful about who to associate with over the years.

Unfortunately, I have found many with the same old historical racism towards First Nations peoples, including myself. Including ones in sheep's clothing that are involved with communities.

The cliques they have is so childish. Just because they have helped with rehoming doesn't mean they are actually good and kind people.

It's absolutely ridiculous... the behaviours, racism I've had to put up with, including the egos and competitiveness.

πŸ‘‰ Meanwhile, animal welfare is about animals.... AND people.

Remember this ........................

Whether we are friends or foes is entirely up to you, as relationships are defined by mutual trust or opposition.

Friends: Offer support, care, honesty, and cooperation for mutual benefit.

Foes: Oppose your interests through deceptive, obstructive, or harmful behavior.

Choice: You can choose to build an alliance or create an adversary through your actions and intent.

REQUEST FOR DONATIONS

UPDATE AUGUST 25th

It's been sometime since the last request for donations to help the cats that Jason Bressette has been looking after.

The original owner is now in assisted living but no contact information was made available to Jason.

Richard first went into the hospital in January. Leaving Jason to caretake for the 8 cats. Then he was notified that Richard wouldn't be coming home. Followed by Ricahrd being placed in assisted living. No further information was made available. So Jason has struggled to feed the 8 cats.

4 of the cats are ferals that live outside. 4 had lived inside with Richard. But it's unknown if they're friendly or feral. They are all now outdoors. If there were friendly ones, they would be in flight mode now.... so hard to determine if they're socialized.

Currently, it's known if there can be any help with rehoming. The ferals cannot be. Therefore, ongoing caretaking will be needed.

If you're able to help provide kibble please let Jason know. Kibble would be best... it stretches further and less costly.

Jason would need any donations to be delivered since he does not have a vehicle.

PS Forest Agri Services has large bags for $40.

-------------------------------------

Reaching out to see if anyone has cat kibble for Jason Bressette at Kettle Point . He has been feeding a friend's cats since January.

That friend was in the hospital and is now not returning home. He's gone to long-term care.

🐱 Now Jason needs to find at least the, 4 of the 8, cats homes but needs help with kibble. πŸ‘‰ Any litter would help too. 🐱

Jason has been actively looking for a rescue to help with rehoming. But there are always waitlists.

πŸ‘‰ If you're able, there are large bags of cat food at Forest Agri Services. It would last the longest. The Forest number is indicated on the image.

Jason doesn't have a vehicle. So if you could deliver, it would be greatly appreciated.

Caregivers of Petrolia Ferals also offered donations if someone can help deliver from Petrolia to Kettle Point. πŸ’—

You can reach Jason Bressette through messenger.
