Helping successful women feel happier at work and at home.

07/10/2026

For most of my life, I would have told you, “I’m a worrier.”

In fact, when my brother and I were kids, we bought my mom a little silver “worry bird” necklace.

We ordered it from the TV Times (remember those? 😂), filled out the little form, and even mailed our coins in the envelope.

It became a bit of a family joke.

“We’re just all worriers.”

For years, I believed that was simply who I was.

Until I learned something that changed everything.

Worry is a normal human emotion.

But living there is optional.

This morning, I caught myself worrying about something.

Years ago, I would have spiraled.

Today, I noticed it.

That simple moment of awareness changed everything.

Instead of following the worry, I asked myself one question:

What else could be true?

Almost immediately, my mind began offering other possibilities.

Maybe it will work out.

Maybe I’m making assumptions.

Maybe there’s another explanation I haven’t considered yet.

The worry didn’t disappear because my circumstances changed.

It eased because my perspective did.

Being healthy on the inside isn’t about never feeling worried.

It’s about noticing where your mind has gone…and remembering you get to choose what comes next.

I’m curious…

If you’re honest, do you think of yourself as a worrier?

Eight days.

Three adult kids.

Their partners.

Four grandbabies.

And one realization I didn’t see coming…

💛

While we were away, Jim and I celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary.

As I watched everyone laughing around the campfire, playing games, making meals together, and simply enjoying being together, I caught myself thinking…

This didn’t happen by accident.

Years ago, I dreamed of having close relationships with my family.

Not perfect relationships.

Deep ones.

The kind where our kids want to spend time together.

The kind where everyone feels at home.

Then it hit me…

I’m living something I once only imagined.

Sometimes we’re so busy chasing the next dream that we forget to celebrate the ones we’ve already created.

So today, instead of asking:

✨ “What’s next?”

Try asking:

✨ “What have I already created that deserves celebrating?”

I’d love to know.

What’s one thing in your life today that you once hoped, prayed for, or worked hard to create?

Let’s celebrate it together. ❤️

Sometimes I forget to pause and really read these.
Not because I’m not grateful…

But because I’m usually thinking about the next workshop, the next client, the next conversation.

Today I slowed down.

And I was reminded that the work is never really about confidence.
Or goals.
Or productivity.

It’s about helping someone come home to themselves.

To see the stories that have been quietly holding them back.

To speak truth with courage.
To feel lighter.
More connected.
More like themselves again.

Reading these words reminds me why I do what I do.

If you’ve ever wondered what coaching is really like…
Maybe these women said it better than I ever could. 🤍

And if you’re feeling like there’s a version of you waiting on the other side of fear, overwhelm, or self-doubt…

Maybe this is your reminder that change is possible.

I’d love to know…
Which of these testimonials speaks to you the most?

The forecast changed.

Rain instead of sunshine.

Years ago, that might have changed the whole vacation.

Now, it changes my packing… not my mindset.

This morning I decided, ahead of time, that this is going to be one of our best family trips yet.

My brain will always look for evidence to support what I believe.

So instead of focusing on the weather, I’m packing rain pants, a heated vest, and a whole lot of gratitude.

Rain or shine, we’re making memories.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can change isn’t the forecast.

It’s the story we’re telling ourselves about it.

What if today was as simple as this?
✨ One thing to do more of.
✨ One thing to do less of.

More connection.
Less distraction.

More water.
Less watching TV.

More presence.
Less rushing.

Our lives don’t usually change because of one big decision.

They change because of the small directions we give ourselves each day.

So here’s my question for you:

What do you want to do more of today?
And what do you want to do less of?

A little Father’s Day gratitude. ❤️

Today, I’m celebrating the incredible men who have shaped my life and the lives of my children and grandchildren.

My dad.
My father-in-law, Harold.
My son.
My son-in-law.

And so many others who have shown up through the years as mentors, neighbours, friends, brothers, coaches, and role models.

Their influence reaches further than they probably realize.

Through their encouragement.
Their wisdom.
Their example.
Their love.

I’ve seen firsthand how much a caring, present man can impact a life.

Today, I’m simply grateful.

Grateful for the men who have helped guide me.
And grateful for the men who are helping guide the next generation.

We are better because of you.

Happy Father’s Day. ❤️
