✨ One Year Home-Ivarsary! ✨ I’m still pinching myself. This home isn’t just bricks and mortar; it’s a living, breathing testament to the incredible faithfulness and goodness of God in my life.
My journey to this house was wild. I had a vision: close to everything, room for family, in an unaffordable area. For three years, an overwhelming nothing. Then, a real estate agent who heard my story simply said to me, “I have your perfect home. You can’t see it though. You’ll just need to trust me.” I had to trust blindly, sight unseen, for months. Patience, not my virtue, was truly tested! I even gave up my apartment and was homeless for several months, staying with friends, housing, praying constantly for a miracle.
When I finally saw it, I was in disbelief. Every detail I’d dreamed of, perfectly laid out. Lake access across the street, hiking trails at my doorstep – even missing the mountains from Colorado felt less poignant here. And the provision? Mind-blowing. An owner selling significantly undervalue, a mortgage rate honored by mistake (when rates were sky-high!), and even overcoming a last-minute seller’s remorse. God provided beyond what I could imagine.
This past year has been filled with so much joy, peace, and memory-making in this space. It truly shows what God can do when we trust Him, even when things seem impossible. Everyday I wake up thankful! 🙏
