Last week I volunteered 5 days at the BC Summer Games here in Kelowna, cooking breakfast and dinner buffet style for 3,000 athletes at every meal.

By the end of it that's close to 30,000 meals out of the kitchen, feeding the next generation of BC athletes all week long.

Grateful I got to be part of it. This is what Team Eats is all about.

We don't just feed traveling teams.

Custom grazing boards built to order. Aged cheeses, cured meats, olives, honey, fresh veg, and flowers from the garden. Made for whatever you're celebrating.

⛳️ What a day at the 41st Annual Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament! With a record-breaking 253 golfers, this was the biggest tournament yet, and what an incredible day it was! ☀️ Century 21 Assurance Realty was proud to be both on the course and represented as a hole sponsor. 🎯

👏 Special shoutouts to:

🏡 @thomas____stewart and @riley.bandick for spending the day at the C21 tent greeting golfers and spreading good vibes. Whether you need a Property Manager, a Realtor, or both, these two have you covered! 🏠💰

🍔 Todd and Logan from @_team.eats for serving up what may very well have been the best pulled pork sliders in tournament history. If you’re a parent, coach, or anyone involved in organizing sports tournaments around the Okanagan, you need to learn more about these guys. Total game changer. Seriously.

❤️ My golf soul sisters @pqunn, @wendy.desrosiers.realestate, and @nica_graz for spending the day with me playing this stupid and infuriating (er, I mean amazing) sport. It was an absolute cracker of a day. If there had been an award for “Sorest Abs From Laughing,” we would have taken home the trophy without question. 😂

🙌 A huge thank you to the @kelownachamber team for delivering what was truly the best tournament yet. Seeing more than 250 people come together for a day of friendly competition, connection, and community was inspiring. It was also a great reminder of how fortunate I am to serve on the Board and be part of an organization that creates opportunities for people to connect in such meaningful ways. ❤️⛳️

🏆 And last, but certainly not least, congratulations to the Century 21 Assurance dream team of @aaronp18, @ramsay_mike , Dave, and @coledegruchy for bringing home 1st Place on The Bear! I’m only a wee bit bitter I had to honour our wager and buy you all a round of drinks. 🍻😏

I’m already counting down to next year! 06/23/2026

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re proud to reflect on the first full year of Team Eats and what an incredible year it has been.

Team Eats began in 2024 as a simple concept: providing athletes with high quality, performance focused meals while they’re traveling, without exceeding team budgets. In March 2025, we had the opportunity to cater the Prairie Hockey Academy teams during the CSSHL playoffs. This marked our first major event and validated that our vision filled a real need in the sports community and we will be forever grateful to Praire.

That momentum carried into spring, where we catered the Calgary Axemen Lacrosse Team players and the staff for the Okanagan Ice Breaker Tournament, hosted by Lake Country Youth Soccer. Throughout the summer, partnerships with Railside Brewing and Rose Hill Orchard helped sustain us by offering our charcuterie boards to the community. We were also honored to partner with the Boys and Girls Club of Kelowna, providing a weekly Thursday dinner to support those in need.

The 2025–26 hockey season kicked off in October, with Team Eats catering Delta Hockey Academy and the CBHA Rangers. The Rangers’ management and coaching staff also helped us fulfill a long-time goal: sharing our food with the hosts of Barn Burner. With their help and support, we were able to send brisket to Rhett Warner to share with the boys. He ate the brisket before he could share which led to an unforgettable experience delivering brisket in person to the full crew in Calgary

We capped off the year by catering the Netherlands Curling Team during their time in Kelowna for Olympic Qualifiers what an incredible way to close out our first year.

To accomplish all of this in our very first year is something we’re deeply grateful for. Thank you to every team, partner, and small business that supported us along the way.

Here’s to an even bigger 2026.

Happy New Year from Team Eats. 🎉 01/02/2026
