Absolutely disgusting that Rogers has closed down 570 News,
First they moved the record out of town, then we lost sports on our local CTV news, and now our local station has been pulled.

And why so the bottom line gets fatter?

This is shameful, Mike Farwell has and is a mainstay in many of our lives and they just shut it down.

Not to mention all the stations staff here, and the other stations across the country. A lot of good people woke up today unemployed.

Slowly they are stripping away local content to create a more controllable centralized system.

Rogers should be ashamed.
Corporate greed at its best.

Make sure you all try to still get local content from local players, great example is 519 Sports Online and other local news sources.

We need to stop this insanity.

Huge Congrats to Evan Sawyer on shutting the door in OT and Shooutout and to Ryan Berscht for scoring their lone shoot out goal.
