Good afternoon,

Please be advised Broadview RCMP have been made aware of a scam currently circulating Broadview and surrounding areas. The caller claims that your family member is in custody and the caller is requesting money be sent or dropped off at a local establishment. RCMP are urging individuals to be vigilant and not provide any personal details including, SIN numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers and especially, not cash.


RCMP would suggest people do their due diligence and contact said family members prior to engaging with these callers.

If your family member was in custody, no police agency or lawyer would call stating in order to speak with your family member you would first have to provide money.

Our senior girls red volleyball team has their home tournament this weekend!

They play at 3 and 7 tonight and 9, 11 and 1 on Saturday. Playoffs to follow.
