Why does an 8-inch inflatable dock matter?

Those extra 2 inches give the dock more volume and buoyancy, helping create a more stable platform when people are walking around, swimming off the side, or loading it up with gear.

That's why our docks are built 8 inches thick instead of the more common 6-inch design.
