Our next ladies night is Thursday September 3, with t-times back to starting at 1:00 pm

It will be individual Stroke Play. Please hand in your card after 9 holes, totaled and ½ your handicap subtracted.

We would like to start the prizes about 7:00 pm, so please plan your T-times accordingly.

The AGM is sneaking up on us!

The executive is organizing a dinner that night of:
2 types of Noodles with Alfredo and Tomato sauce, Caesar salad, Garlic Toast and Dessert squares.
It will cost $10 per person, with the ladies’ club paying the balance.

By September 17 we will have to have final numbers and your $10.

It is our Mid-Month Madness on Thursday August 20
T-times starting at 11:00am call the Pro-Shop to book your time!!

It will be a game: “Fairways Minus Putts”

The game is played by keeping track of fairways hit off the tee and the number of putts taken. If you land on the fairway with your tee shot, you start the hole with 5 points. If you do not hit the fairway, you take a zero for that hole. If you hit the fairway, subtract your number of putts for that hole from your 5 points. This is the number of points you get for the hole. On par threes, Flights 1 & 2 must hit the green to get your 5 fairway points. Flight 3 must hit the green in 2 to get your 5 points. Keep track of your points on each hole and total these at the end for a “game score”.

For example, if Jane hits the fairway on hole 1 and has 3 putts, she records 2 points for that hole. Her buddy Donna doesn’t hit the fairway and gets zero points. No negatives scores are recorded, simply a zero. On hole 2, Jane does not hit the fairway and so she gets a zero. Donna hits the fairway this time and has 1 putt. Donna gets 4 points. And so on….

It will be just as warm, so remember to have hydration breaks and drink some electrolytes while you are playing!
A spray bottle with water also helps along with your cooling towels!
