📍 Location Change:
Our July 18–19 show will now be held at Vermilion College, Vermilion, Alberta — we are no longer at Lee Park.

We’re excited to introduce a new class:
Western Heritage 3-Man Two-Gate Sorting
• Walk–trot only (no loping or galloping)
• Straight draw format
• $25 entry fee

We’ll also be offering our regular sorting.

Show Dates: July 18–19
Start Time: 10:00 AM both Saturday and Sunday

Entries Close: Sunday, July 12 at 6:00 PM

Unlimited entries with a maximum of 6 rides per rider.

Mandatory Draw format applies, with combination options available.

If there is enough interest and memberships, we may also offer Youth and 2+ classes.

We’ve also made some changes to our buckles ! We will now be awarding Class Champion buckles as well as one Overall High Point buckle only

Hey everyone,

What a fantastic way to kick off our first show of the season! Thank you to everyone who came out and made today such a success. We saw some great runs, great sportsmanship, plenty of laughs, and even got to celebrate a special “101st birthday” along the way.

We appreciate all of the riders, families, volunteers, and supporters who spent the day with us. It’s always great to see both familiar faces and new ones enjoying a day with good horses, good cattle, and good company.

For tomorrow, we have decided to switch gears and hold Open Cow Work instead of a show.

Open Cow Work will start at 10:00 AM.

This will be a great opportunity to get some extra practice, work on your horsemanship, try a few things in a relaxed setting, and spend more time in the pen with your horses and fellow riders.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a long-time member of our penning community and dedicated board member Dennis Dube.

For many years, he gave countless hours to the sport, the association, and the people within it. His passion for team penning, commitment to the community, and willingness to help wherever needed made a lasting impact on so many of us. Whether behind the scenes, at the gate, in the arena, or supporting fellow riders and families, he was always someone people could count on.

His presence, friendship, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The penning community is more than a sport and we send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.
