Back to normality in the Columbia Valley after an exciting long weekend - hope you were able to make the most of the unexpected adventure! 🔦

We can't believe it's that time again but registration is now OPEN for our Fall Youth Sports programs! 😲

Whether your child is just beginning their sporting journey or looking to continue developing their skills, confidence and love for sport, we have a program for them!

📅 Mondays (Sept 21st – Oct 27th)

🚴 12:00–3:00pm – Mt. Nelson Homeschool PE (Biking @ Lake Lilian & Kayaking Wetlands)
Ages 7–14 – $300

⚽ 3:30–4:30pm – Soccer Minis (Ages 3.5–5) – $120

⚽ 4:30–5:30pm – Soccer Juniors (Ages 6–10) – $110

🏀 4:30–5:30pm – Basketball (Ages 7–11) – $100

💪 5:30–6:30pm – Sports Conditioning (Ages 8+) – $100

📅 Tuesdays

🌲 1:00–2:00pm – Homeschool PE (Ages 5–9) – $120

🏋️ 4:00–5:00pm – Athlete Strength Academy @ SC2 Gym (Ages 10+) – $120

📍 Locations: Mt Nelson Athletic Park (unless otherwise stated)

🍁 Please Note: There will be no Soccer Minis, Soccer Juniors, Basketball or Sports Conditioning on Monday, October 12th due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Our sessions focus on skill development, confidence, teamwork and, most importantly, having fun!

We're looking for a passionate, energetic Lead Youth Sports Coach to join the Valley Sports Hub team this September.

If you love sport, enjoy working with children, and want to make a genuine difference in your community, we'd love to hear from you!

⚽ The Role
✔️ Approximately 15 hours per week
✔️ Potential to grow into a full-time position
✔️ Mid-September start
✔️ Competitive rates of pay

You'll be delivering fun, engaging sports coaching to children aged 3–18 across our youth sports programs, schools, homeschool PE, Sports Adventure Camp, and community events.

We're looking for someone who:

✅ Has experience working with children in a sports setting.
✅ Holds a sports coaching qualification (or is willing to obtain one).
✅ Is enthusiastic, reliable, and a great communicator.
✅ Wants to inspire the next generation to enjoy sport and physical activity.
✅ Has (or is willing to obtain) a Criminal Record Check before starting.
