One of the most anticipated and coveted items on our door prize table…

We’re excited to announce that, back again this year, you will have a chance to get anything, and we mean A N Y T H I N G, from Vortex for half MSRP price.

Riflescope? A new rangefinder? Razor UHD 10X50 binoculars? Spotting scope? What about the new Veil 400 Thermal Monocular?

No problem. Half off.

And we have FOUR of these bad boys to hand out the Saturday night after dinner, along with other amazing archery/hunting/outdoor related gear.

A massive thanks to Vortex Canada!! As well as Vortex Optics as they will honour (honor?) any of these gift certificates won by our American friends.

A big THANK YOU to Xlimits Archery Supply!

Based in Nova Scotia, this veteran owned and operated full range archery shop is known for giving back to the archery community since its inception in 2019.

Owner Sab Rose is a passionate archer and has been building his custom Xprecision bowstrings since 2024.

We can personally attest to the quality and ease of installation of these strings. And 3 of our competitors will be fortunate enough to find that out for themselves next month!

Don’t forget the kids this year!

The Youth and Cubs divisions are starting to stack up nicely (we’re hoping Cordell Green from Country 95.9 can return this year to introduce the cubs again in the finals but he’s a busy fella). But we do know ‘The Viper’ has already registered! IYKYK

We have responded to everyone who has already registered so if you haven’t received a response, check your junk mail!! And feel free to message us if you’re unsure.

Registration closes next month (August 9, 2026) for The Southern Canadian Classic brought to you by our friends at Vortex Canada!

Every year, once our tournament is over, the garbage has been picked up and the pressure is off, our close friends are invited to stay and wind down with us.

It’s a perfect time for us, as organizers, to slow down, thank people for their help and enjoy some food, drink and clearly, some singalongs.

And one year, it was the Canadian anthem that we decided to belt out, thanks to a request by - of all people - our friend from New York. So in honour of today’s holiday, we would like to share a little of what goes on after our tournament wraps up.

After all the logistics, the arrows, and the competition of the weekend, the fun and camaraderie still continues. And that’s THE best part of this archery community.

Despite their off-key singing.

Happy Canada Day, friends. See you in August.

We’d like to welcome Feradyne Outdoors to the 2026 SCC partner lineup!

Feradyne, a leading archery and hunting equipment company, is the manufacturer of brands such as Axe Crossbows, Carbon Express arrows, as well as Muzzy, Nockturnal and many, many others.

And we want to thank them for a great prize this year - a TruFire Synapse release along with Rage Hypo 2 broadheads.

We will see YOU this August at The Southern Canadian Classic. Link to our website in comments!

Each year, we throw out sooo many plastic water bottles, many of them mostly full.

So for 2026, we will be implementing water stations throughout the courses, as well as the camping and gathering areas. We will provide paper cups, but we encourage you to bring your refillable bottles!

Crisp, great tasting, filtered water will be provided courtesy of Kingsville Carwash, Laundromat / Water & Ice Refill Center.

Many thanks to this local business for keeping everyone hydrated and for supplying us with ice!

The Southern Canadian Classic happens in August, brought to you by Vortex Canada.
