Spring 🌼🌱 into yoga with me

“They Are the Seasons”

They rise from the soil
four daughters of the same heartbeat,
their hair woven from rivers,
their eyes holding the dawn of time.

Spring dances barefoot on the moss,
singing to the seeds,
her laughter spills into every blossom,
a promise reborn from the Earth’s gentle pulse.

Summer carries the drum of thunder,
her skin glows like the heart of the sun.
She teaches warmth, and wild freedom
a spirit unbroken, fierce and alive.

Autumn and Winter walk hand in hand,
one painting farewell in gold,
the other cloaking silence in snow
yet both whisper:
“We do not die. We only dream and return.”

There is an Indian proverb or axiom that says that everyone is a house of four rooms, a physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual.
Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time, but unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.
