This post says a lot about Gimli, our community, our citizens and the love of Curling in and around us. Congratulations to all the participants and to the volunteers who make these events happen. Curling runs deep in our community and it shows on the world stage. Volunteers truly make a difference and Gimli is so very fortunate to have so many. We’re wrapping up our week of curling celebration with big news!

Our Team Kerri Einarson event on Tuesday raised a whopping $5,000 for Gimli U18 Curling at the Gimli Curling Club.

Once again, a heartfelt, thank you for all the supporters and sponsors who made this such a successful event. We truly couldn’t have done it without you. 

Good luck to Team Einarson (junior!) and Team Johnson as they both compete at the CurlManitoba Youth Jamboree over the next three days!

Our junior curlers in Gimli continue to make headlines as Taryn, Alice and Bella are in the Express Weekly News this week! Read about how they qualified for and participated in the U15 Prairie Rockfest event in Moose Jaw, where Taryn placed fourth!

After going undefeated in the round robin, Team East finished fourth at the Manitoba Games. Congratulations Khloe, Kamryn and team for battling hard and serving as great representatives for our region at the Games!
