Apparently there’s a whole trend happening right now of people trying to live a little more like we did in the 90s — less phone time, less social media, more being outside, reading, hobbies, actually being bored sometimes… and I am HERE FOR IT.

Remember when nobody could reach you once you left the house?

When you had to wait ALL WEEK to see the next episode of your favourite show?

When plans were made on the landline and you just… showed up?

When kids disappeared outside for hours and came home when the streetlights came on?

Life wasn't perfect, but man… it felt simpler. ❤️

I keep seeing people talk about adding more whimsy to their lives lately, and honestly, I LOVE the idea.

When did we all get so serious?

Use the cute mug. Wear the ridiculous shirt. Put the disco ball in your kitchen. Buy yourself flowers at the grocery store. Dance while you make supper. Decorate your house with something that serves absolutely no purpose other than making you smile.

Life gives us enough serious stuff.

I think we deserve more things that are just… fun.
