Before you bring your cards in for grading, keep these in mind.

1. Check the card’s market value first. Is the graded version worth significantly more?
2. Inspect the centering of the card. Are the L/R and T/B likely to fall witin the parameters of the grading company?
3. Inspect for whitening, edge damage, scratches, or print defects. These will lower your grade.
4. Only grade cards that are close to mint. The goal is PSA 10.
