Y'all... It's been an incredible summer. We had about twice as many visitors as last year. So many new faces smiled and enjoyed everything the Digby Outdoor Recreation Centre has to offer. Weeks of youth summer camps, family events, and special community activities have kept us on our toes.

It's bittersweet, but as the seasons change and we fall back (see what we did there?🍂) into the familiar back-to-school routine, so too must our hours change.

Minsung is back to school, and B is back to work, so we're dropping our hours to weekends only.

We're open from 10am to 5pm on Saturdays & Sundays, weather permitting.

Don't forget about us out here!! Drop by for a visit, a swim, or get one last paddle in before we close up at the end of September.

Stay tuned for updates about HalloHarvest, which is happening Saturday, September 26 here at the lake. There's plenty of fun to be had.

Saturday is the LAST Family Day at the Lake for 2026. (If you hear sobs, It's just B -- he'll be fine 😭).

You don't want to miss out on the fun and action, because we've got great things planned.

The lake is open usual weekend hours from 10-7pm, but our special activities happen between noon-6pm.
Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs!!

The little hums have been buzzing around inside the rental shed a lot lately so we put up a feeder of sugar water. We had our first guest just minutes ago!

For those who would love to try kayaking but are nervous or would benefit from a little extra stability - we have a brand new solution!

The amazing Matt and Kenny from Digby Area Recreation Commission installed outriggers on two of our kayaks!

Think of them as 'training wheels' for the kayaks that add more stability and buoyancy.

Who's ready to come take these bad boys out for a spin?? 🛶
