South Delta Basketball is excited to kick off registration for the 2026 fall season! Whether your athlete is picking up a basketball for the first time or chasing an elite competitive path, we've got a spot for them:

Grade 10-12 Co-Ed House League

As South Delta's only not-for-profit basketball league, your registration fees stay in the community - funding coaching, equipment, and gym time, not profit.

SDBA is thrilled to welcome Gabriel "Gabe" Gibbs as our new Technical Director! 🙌

Coach Gabe is a former NCAA and professional basketball player, founder of G2 Athletics, and a pro skills coach who's worked with NBA All-Stars. He'll be leading SDBA's player development, technical curriculum, and coaching standards — bringing pro-level experience and a real commitment to our community.

South Delta Basketball (SDBA) has another week-long Summer Skills Training Camp, starting soon!

📅 Dates: August 17–21, 2026
📍 Location: Pebble Hill Elementary
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (4 hrs/day, 5 days)
👦👧 Who: Co-ed, Grades 3–7 (players grouped by age and skill level)
💰 Cost: $325 per player (GST included)

Our skills training stations will focus on (but aren’t limited to):
🏀 Ball Handling
🎯 Passing
🎯 Shooting Skills
🏃 Court Spacing
🆚 Game Play (Scrimmages)

🏀✨ IMPRESSIVE SHOWING AT THE PRIMETIME WESTERN CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP! ✨🏀

What. A. Game. 🔥

Our U16 squad closed out the PrimeTime Western Canadian Championship in the most HEART-STOPPING way possible — Kofi sinking a game-winning 3-pointer with just 2 seconds on the clock! 😤🙌

The other team fired back with a 3 of their own… but the buzzer had already sealed it. IT’S OVER. WE WIN. 🚨

And if that wasn’t enough — Kofi was named Player of the Game. Absolutely EARNED. 🏅👑

5th place at a Western Canadian Championship — for a squad that only came together last spring. 💪 This group has grown SO much in just over a year, and this is the result. 🙌

So proud of these athletes. This is just the beginning. 👏🏽🏆
