BE THE CHANGE with this Zumba Plus event! There are 2 goals to this event, one is to raise money for mental health promotion initiatives of the (C.M.H.A.) and the other is to raise awareness about mental health and to "Be the Change" while having fun. The Zumba community lost a dear friend to mental illness in 2014, we are hosting this event in honor of her, Monique Rozon. At the event, you are in
vited to come and enhance your mental health/wellbeing for the evening. Come PAMPER YOURSELF with a multitude of services...massages, hair stylings, nail designs, learning something new and/or participating in making something. There are 3 events happening this year on the same night:
1- Zumba Fitness Class
2- Booth Services
3- Musician Chris Benton and appetizers
During the time of our Booths, you will walk around and sign up for time slots with the services that you are interested in receiving. The duration of each time slot will be approximately 8 minutes for most stations (e.g., nails, hair. massage). Some stations will be around 20 minutes (e.g., seminars). Each service you attend requires a minimum donation of $5 (Zumba, yoga, each booth service). All of the money raised will be donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association in honour of Monique.
