When it’s the boss mare’s birthday, we celebrate big🎉

Miss Cloud turned 26 today!! We are so thankful for everyday with her, and love her so very much!! Cloud was spoiled (in the best way!) with a good brush, playing with her friends, and eating some well deserved treats!

Late Christmas Eve, when stars shone bright,
Santa tiptoed into the barn that night.
Red stood tall with a happy neigh,
Lacey smiled in her horsey way.

Cloud watched close as Santa came through,
Denver listened — were those bells too?
Cima bounced with Christmas cheer,
As Santa laughed, “Good horses here!”

With pats and treats, he waved goodbye,
Then off he flew across the sky.
Five sweet horses, snug and warm,
Dreamed of magic till Christmas morn.

Everyone who’s been to the barn, knew of our barn cat who only lasted outside for 3 months before he became a full time house cat (never to brave the scary outside again). Aka our failed mouser, Penguin🐱

Unfortunately, we said goodbye to our sweet little guy on Friday. We know he is having so much fun in the sky with miss JJ, who we know was his favourite horse to hang out with.

We will miss you and JJ forever now, Penguin🤍

We are so happy to have Mr. Denver join us at the barn!

He is the absolute sweetest guy, and truly is the definition of a gentle giant🤍

Today we are celebrating miss Lacey as she turns 15🎉🎈

Lacey has brought so much joy to all of her lesson students, and truly loves everyone she meets. Lacey is an extra special girl who loves to dig holes, chew on zippers and buttons, and steal ice capps when nobody is looking. And we love her for all her quirks🤍

Lacey will be spending her birthday doing her favourite thing, which is laying out in the sun and having a long nap❤️

We have a LIMITED number of spots left for our 8 week lesson program that have opened for kiddos (anywhere from age 7-16) ☀️ located in Summerside!

Our summer lesson program is 8 weeks of lessons and consists of ground work, riding, and horse care skills! We have so much fun teaching this program and it is a great opportunity for kiddos looking for something to do this summer or to increase their cowboy skills! 🐴

Join The Barn for some Tuesday evenings in July for some horse fun!

This program is designed for women who may have been horse girls growing up and miss spending quality time in the barn, for the women who always dreamed of having a horse, or for lesson moms who wish to experience the barn how their kiddos do!

We will meet over the course of four evenings to learn grooming skills, horse handling skills, horse care and health skills, and fun horsemanship training techniques. This non-riding program will benefit anyone who is need of some barn time, and is looking to refresh their horsemanship skills.

There is limited space available in this program, so book soon to ensure your spot!

Happy 24th Birthday to our boy, Red ❤️

Red has brought so much joy to his person, Hannah, and to everyone who has met him. He has the funniest, goofiest personality and he makes life so fun! You never know what he's going to do and definitely keeps us on our toes!
