Giving new life to our All Saints Field, it will be a place for all in our Community to enjoy.

Ever wonder where our iconic 8 came from? Let me fill you in on a little story of our past. Trying to keep this short, but Mikey deserves a novel.
Mikey was a young boy, who lived for summers at the ballfield's here in CBS with his friends. Mikey had a passion for softball that was parallel to none. His parents Mike and Paula were his biggest fans (and perhaps some of the biggest fans at the ballpark).
On August 27, 2017 after a road trip for a Boys u12 tournament, the unthinkable happened on our highway...a tragedy that made our world stand still. Heaven gained 3 of the most beautiful souls, and our Softball community was heartbroken.
Mikey was 11, and would have been 17 this year (if our years haven't slipped away from us). Since then, CBS Minor Softball has hosted a Memorial Tournament to remember our friend - Mikey. The kid who was always full of fire and grit at the field. Our best friend, who was always up for a meet up at the field...parents would take turns dropping off pizzas at the field for supper, since Mikey and the boys never wanted to give up the game.

Mikey Ryan Memorial will be this weekend, July 21-23 at Ned Nugents field U15 Boys Tournament. It'll be a place filled with memories being made, laughter, for sure lots of talk of Mikey from his old teammates and rivals, and some of the most incredible young men making catches and hits that will be crowd worthy.
Field of Dreams Volunteers will be hosting a Canteen Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday mid morning. We invite you to swing by Neds in Kelligrews and not only catch some of the best fastpitch with 6 local teams but also grab a bbq'd burger (only the best being served - Supplied by Newlander Meat Shop) hotdogs, drinks, and snacks.
All funds going directly back to our account to help us in our fundraising efforts right where Mikey would want it going, the ballfield.

All funds will be tallied and all will go directly to our future Field of Dreams ❤️ (in turn, OUR Community)

Bingo game to begin 7pm.
*please be extra conscious of our Parking volunteers with orange batons and wearing vests-they’ll direct you to the appropriate parking spot. This will make for a smooth transition for everyone leaving the event.
For those who wish to park next to friends-which we totally understand ❤️ - please arrive in the parking lineup together 😉

Parking attendant volunteers will be clearly visible and will direct incoming guests at our Bingo. Volunteers will also help direct traffic out and makes everything flow efficiently.
