Comox Valley Ultimate

Pickup is on tonight, Wednesday Aug 26, starting at 6:30 (18:30 in case you read 6:30 as 7:15). We are aiming to jump straight into a 5s/7s game. Monday's pickup game was plenty of fun with highlights being the introduction of the "A" offense aka Tom's O, the flying V or the what the _ _ _ _ are we doing here? depending on who you ask and we cannot forget that the disc was inexplicably very difficult to catch, especially for the light team. 🧐

The Comox Valley Sports & Social Club has Monday drop-in lined up for the next couple Mondays at Highland, including tomorrow for those interested. You don't have to be registered in the fall to show up:

Aug. 24 - Drop-in Ultimate 7's - All Welcome @ 6:30PM

Aug. 31 - Drop-in Ultimate 7's - All Welcome @ 6:30PM

Sept. 7 - Drop-in Ultimate 7's - All Welcome @ 6PM

Arrive: Please arrive by 6:15 p.m. to warm up and be ready to split teams and start for 6:30. It's super helpful to be early.

Bring: Cleats, Light and Dark shirts, water, discs and your boundless enthusiasm.

Pickup is on tonight at Queneesh, 7pm. 5's, 7's or goalti or a combo. Numbers and majority decide. The Ultimate democracy, be part of it.

After the game, we're bringing some BBQ hot dogs for well anyone who wants one!

Congrats to the Summer Flings, our B Tier Ultimate champions after a 15-6 win over Game of Throws in the final last night at Highland. It may have only been a summer fling, but my what a fling it was.
