I want to give a huge shout out to all the amazing nurses, psw's, recreation staff, dietary aids and everyone else that give their time to help others!

There are a huge number of amazing, well cleaned, well staffed, well cared for and happy homes in Ontario!! I for one am feeling pretty sh*tty, hearing and reading comments that have been made after the military report came out. I could sit here and place blame on the bigger powers that be.

But instead I want to highlight that there are amazing people out there caring for seniors. People that spend less time with their families, to care for yours. People that are genuinly hurt by these comments and media portrayal, because they care deeply.

I say to you, keep doing what you do!! It makes a difference!
