Paul’s Bulk Water Delivery

With the craziness going on in the world, sometimes you need to briefly unplug and just take in the peacefulness around you. It’s slowly sinking in.

Working on a new project in Brant County. Have you ever wondered how brush/grass is grown in ditches or along the side of highways. There are 2 common methods. You’ve seen the “green paste” that is sometimes used on steep slopes of off ramps on highways, it’s a blend of water and grass seed mixed in a water tank and sprayed, and called Hydroseed.
The second common method is blown organic compost material. We’re working with a company that applies the grass -brush seed mixed in compost that is blown over existing soil/grass at various depths. It is extremely warm compost that promotes seed growth. It absorbs water like nothing you’ve ever seen, and can grow brush literally on concrete if the material depth is applied deep enough. In a week, weather permitting, foliage will start coming up. In the 3rd picture, that slope will look like the brush to the left of it in a few weeks. The compost is so warm you can feel the heat coming off it when standing near it. We’re watering it to keep it moist and promote seed germination.

Not all pool fills are for humans, 😂😜! Lexi the lab knew exactly what the water truck was there for….her pool! She waited patiently sitting at the edge until her owner said go.
