Big congratulations to Ms Jada! 👏

She represented the Kweneng Regional Football Association at the COSAFA General Coordinator Course held from 23rd to 25th August 2026.

The 3-day course equipped participants with key skills in General Coordination, which plays a vital role in the smooth running of football tournaments and matches. Key areas covered included:
- Tournament Operation: Planning, scheduling, and delivery of regional competitions
- Match Day Management: Venue readiness, team liaison, officials coordination, and safety protocols
- Compliance & Regulations: Understanding COSAFA, CAF and FIFA statutes, player eligibility, and reporting
- Stakeholder Management: Working with clubs, referees, medical teams, media, and local authorities
- Football Development: Strategies to strengthen grassroots structures and player pathways across the region

Thank you to COSAFA for organizing this important capacity-building course, and to Ms Jada for representing Kweneng with dedication and professionalism.

The Kweneng Regional Football Association is proudly represented at the ongoing Football Pitso

Regional Chairman Mr. Mokgachane and Regional Secretary Mr Gaegopolwe attended the Pitso on behalf of the region, taking part in dialogue on the challenges, opportunities, and future of football in Botswana.

Following the Pitso, they will proceed to the BFA Annual General Meeting where they will table resolutions adopted from our Regional AGM.

Kweneng Regional Football Association continues to invest in the development of football officials through the Referee's Beginner Course, aimed at equipping aspiring referees with the necessary knowledge and skills to officiate the beautiful game.

The participants are being guided by experienced instructors Mr Tlhowe and Mr Tshule, who are taking them through the Laws of the Game, ensuring that they understand the principles, interpretations, and responsibilities of a referee on the field of play.

The course forms part of KRFA’s commitment towards developing competent match officials who will contribute to the growth, fairness, and professionalism of football within the region.

We wish all participants the best as they embark on this important journey of becoming future football referees. 👏⚽
