OMG, what a way to finish our holidays....no place like Flinders Island and a bunch of happy running friends!!

So after venturing around the world, we touched down for a day to pick Makala up and venture to Flinders Island.
Climbed Mt Strzlecki yesterday and explored the island abit today....oh and it just so happens to be the Flinders Island Running Festival....so we topped of an awesome day with a naked run (no watch) and nominate your time run.

Flinders Island it's so pristine, tranquil, shhhh love this place.

City Tour yesterday morning, the Tango theatre late last night...bit of a sore head this morning. Visited Eve Peron grave and many others on tour, then wandered through a market back to hotel..... it was really interesting!!! More pics to come.

RIO DE JANEIRO apart from seeing Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain, that amazing church and having a stroll along Copacbana Beach....which was all we did see, not sure there is much more to this city.

We thought it was rough and dirty. Was told to take any jewellry off before leaving the hotel as pick pocketing and snatching of necklaces were common. We felt on guard when out.

Wouldn't spend more than 2 days in city if planning on coming here.

Iguaza Falls, Brazil side as this is where we stayed, so so different from Rio, yes still a poorer community but the streets look like they care, they try.

It felt safe to walk around and not worry here. Other than the Falls and show not much else to do, we could have had more time on the Argentina side of falls to explore all trails in comfort and at a leisurely pace.

Darren and I broke off from the group to do the trail that included the stairs, it had to be was a quick walk/run as we had to be back with group at 2pm, would have loved to enjoyed just a little more.
