Roscommon Ógra Fianna Fáil

Roscommon Ógra Fianna Fáil members Ben Fehilly (Creagh) and Ryan Dolan (Lecarrow) were delighted to travel with a delegation the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona. They engaged in a number of high level talks with politicians from the Junts per Catalunya party, meeting the President of the Parliament of Catalonia Josep Rull, First Secretary of Parliament Glòria Freixa i Vilardell and Former Minister, Ambassador and current City Councillor Victòria Alsina i Burgués.

They also met a number of representatives from the party’s youth branch JNC. A special thanks to the JNC for facilitating the trip and a special mention to Martina.

The delegation was formed of 15 representatives of University College Dublin and was organised by Harry Gaughan (Connacht Regional Organiser, Mayo) with assistance from Padraig Cawley (International Officer, Sligo).

This week Roscommon Ógra members Ben Feehily and Ryan Dolan alongside International Officer Padraig Cawley visited the European Parliament in Brussels in collaboration with Cynthia Ní Mhurchu MEP for Ireland South. It is always a pleasure to meet with our elected representatives in the European Parliament and we look forward to our next visit.
