​As the General Secretary, seeing the discipline of our athletes and the overwhelming support from the media and fans has been incredibly rewarding. This tournament is a testament to what we can achieve when we align vision with action.
​A heartfelt thank you to our partners, the organizing committee, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports for their unwavering support. We are not just building a tournament; we are building a legacy.
​The champion’s trophy has been raised, but our work to take Bangladesh Rugby to the global stage is only just beginning.

Today, we officially commenced the National Rugby 7s Championship 2026 with a ceremony that reflects the growing stature of the sport in our country.
We were deeply honored to welcome the Hon'ble State Minister for Youth and Sports, Aminul Haque , as our Chief Guest. His presence, representing the Ministry of Youth and Sports , sends a powerful message about the government's commitment to nurturing athletic talent at the national level.
As the General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union , my focus is to ensure that the vision of the Ministry and the passion of our athletes meet on the field. Today was more than an inauguration; it was a commitment to the future of Bangladesh sports.

My work with the Bangladesh Rugby Federation is focused on building that foundation. From the stadium to the boardroom, we are creating a clear path for the next generation of players to compete on the global stage.
It is a long journey, but we are prioritizing infrastructure, scouting, and long-term sustainability to ensure our growth is permanent.
