Temporary Closure Notice

Please be advised that the Raymond Forde National Tennis Centre will be temporarily closed today, Monday, 13 July 2026 and will reopen at 5:00pm that same day.

This temporary closure has been directed by the Cabinet Secretary to facilitate arrangements for the State Funeral of Dr. Shelly-Ann Cox.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Last weekend, Matthew Weir produced a determined performance to capture the BTA Spring Open 2026 title.

Matthew defeated Nicholas Charles in a rain interrupted championship match after an earlier victory over Brandon Dowell in the semis on his way to the title. Brandon Dowell and Tyler Baptiste were the Open tournament's semifinalists.

With the victory, Matthew also walked away with just under $400 in prize money.

In the Spring Amateur, Dominic Wilson claimed the championship over Ricardo Griffith, with Matthew Evans and Justin Grant finishing as semifinalists.

Congratulations to all players for an excellent weekend of competitive tennis at the Raymond Forde National Tennis Centre.
