Surely it is about time race clubs desist with speeches after major races. By all means have a presentation of trophies etc, but let’s get with the rest of the world and flick the mindless speeches (that no one listens to). Just pass over the trophies, get the photos taken and move on for goodness sake. No one actually likes making a speech (well, most people) and more importantly no one listens. Watch the crowd. They are all on their phones or having conversations amongst each other. Certainly not watching someone waffle on needlessly with a speech. Get into the modern world race clubs and get out of last century

Both horse and rider were unharmed 🙌🏽

Liberty Smyth rode her first career winner today at Port Macquarie, taking out Race 1 for her master Nathan Doyle 🏆

An incredible achievement on just her sixth race ride and plenty more to come.
