2 games then BBQ lunch followed by 1 game after lunch

Calling all Dads and their sons or daughters for the Annual Father's Day Classic. Join us on Sunday 6th September for a round-robin event featuring shorter 8-10 end matches, and a BBQ lunch.

Congrats to our newest champions, Gary O'Sullivan and Dan Cartwright who were victorious over Peter Mason and Peter Dawson in the Men's Minor Pairs last weekend. A great achievement in a strong field of largely emerging bowlers which augurs very well for our future. Well done all!

A great week at Kempsey where we made it to the quarter finals of the state championships. The fact that we beat 2 of the semi-finalists confirms that we deserved our spot and arguably should have gone further but for some unfortunate rulings. Anyhoo, we live and learn. Massive thanks to our friends and partners from Thirroul Bowling Club, we’ve loved the whole experience…

Congrats to our own Pete Izzard representing the Duckies in the Regional Rookies Singles Championships, winning both his round matches, then the knockout to go through to tomorrow’s finals.

Next week our composite Club Thirroul and Wombarra Bowlo Men's Division 4 Illawarra Bowls Pennants Champs, represented by Mick T, Charlie B, Robbie M, Wrecker, Macca and Sean I, will be hitting the highway to fight it out for a State title at Kempsey. It has been a while since both clubs have played at the State Playoffs and they are primed to give it their best shot! All the best to the team.

Lovely morning for those few that braved it. There were v light sprinkles and sunshine, then clouds, then more sunshine and more clouds.
Viv and Leigh had a small victory over Deidre and Jennifer.
Then happy to watch Belgium 🇧🇪 smash USA 🇺🇸 out of the World Cup.
