A little cool this morning after a brief taste of summer last week. Warming up with Shibashi Set 1 in our Tuesday 9am class in Balgownie. A few new faces doing a great job for their first time. Welcome to Five Islands Tai Chi!

Next Sunday Jen and I will be offering a free Tai Chi class in the Illawarra Rhododendron and Rainforest gardens at 10.30am.
There is a cost of $5 donation to enter the garden, and all profits go toward maintaining this beautiful garden which doesn't receive council funding.
You can find details about the garden, how to get there, and how lovely it is at their website https://irrg.au/
We hope to see you there; the weather is expected to be lovely.

This morning we ran our first Tai Chi class in the Wollongong Botanic Garden. What a perfect day for it.
We are learning the Baduanjin and it was lovely in the shade of the trees listening to the wind rustle among the branches. We even had an odd bush Turkey wander through!

It felt colder this morning so we did extra Qigong, Rooster crowing, Shibashi 1 and some silk reeling to move our chi. What a fabulous way to start the day.

Some times magic happens in a Tai Chi class.
This morning in our 9am class, we practised our form a couple of times and then Jen put on some beautiful music and just quietly led the group and they quietly flowed together and it was pure magic.
