16 degrees Celsius in and out of the water … might as well play !

The KAP7 Australia and New Zealand inflatable goals still (just) going strong after 6 years of use! 💪 🥅

Thanks to Australian UAV Service for the eyes from above, unfortunately no Aussie Sharks 🦈 in the water today.

Sydney Wild League going from strength to strength after it’s beginning as a way to keep playing water polo during the Covid-19 pandemic🦠

Such a great community where everyone chips in to help out.

What a tournament! Congratulations to the Aussie Stingers and Sharks for spectacular performances and bringing the world of water polo to Sydney, Australia.

One of the goal keepers from our Watsons Bay Water Polo Masters team managed to escape from his cage and went roving around Sydney Olympic Park SOPAC during the WA World Cup.

Many of the field players unsuccessfully tried to hustle him back to the goals, fortunately our GK was able to score a KAP7 Australia and New Zealand signature ball, some choice autographs and meet up with some of the best water polo players in the world.

If you would like to steal the KAP7 International, Inc. autograph ball off our GK, please like this post and share your own stories about the World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup 2026 in Sydney or about someone passionate about & tag Sydney Wild League so we can see your post. We will pass the ball around via the international water polo community so get ready for a clean catch!

Hopefully this post will be like our GK shooting (ending well above the target!) and score more likes than the previous post about boring old goals that our GK loves.

Waterpolo Community Strong

Behind the fantastic win by the Australian women’s water polo team in the World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup semifinals last night at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre are countless hours of support from family, friends and the water polo community.

Sydney Wild League and Watsons Bay White Caps Water Polo Club are proud to be able to continue to play a role in supporting our shared future water polo by paying it forward.

SWL/WBWC water polo inherited from PLC Sydney school a set of water polo goals that was surplus to their needs.

Through the network of relationships built through the water polo community, a great new home has been found for the goals at Artic Water Polo who train at Revesby Pool.

As a footnote, the goals were originally donated to PLC Sydney by Emmeline Hirst and family in 2006, so we acknowledge and thank them for their ongoing contribution to water polo and to let her know that the goals are still being put to good use.

Hope this post encourages all of you to keep our water polo community strong and continue to help each other to build the sport of water polo.
