As the preferred club for players from HMAS Stirling, and a club proudly run by many veterans, we understand how difficult it can be to commit to a team while serving.

Deployments, postings, shift work and service commitments can make regular football challenging. That shouldn’t mean you have to give up the game.

That’s why Port Kennedy Soccer Club will continue to offer 50% off registration fees for currently serving Australian Defence Force members in 2027.

We’re proud to support those who serve, on and off the pitch.⚽️

We also understand the unique challenges FIFO workers face, which is why we’ll continue to offer reduced fees for FIFO families in 2027- ensuring players only pay for what they play.

⚽️ THE PK WAY | FINISH THE PLAY | PHASE 3

We’re excited to announce the third academy in The PK Way player development pathway!
Following our Defensive Principles and Attacking Principles academies, we now move into Phase 3: Finish the Play.

Developed by our FFA/UEFA B Diploma coaches and delivered by our team of in-house B & C Diploma coaches, this academy is designed to help players understand what to do with the ball when it matters most: creating opportunities, combining with teammates and finishing attacks.

⚽️FINISH THE PLAY will focus on:

-Creating Play
Movement and communication to create attacking opportunities.

-Attacking Combinations
Mastering one-twos, overlaps and combination play.

-Finishing Techniques
Developing confidence and technique to master the shot.

-Creating Space
Using dribbling, movement and positioning to create opportunities.

-Set Pieces
Learning how to design and execute attacking set plays.

-Game Situations
Putting it all together and learning how to finish under pressure.

This is The PK Way: a clear, connected player development pathway that builds understanding from defending, to attacking, to finishing the play.

After an incredible season, our U13 JCL 1 girls are officially Champions and have well and truly earned their promotion into the JDL for next year!

We could not be prouder of this amazing group. Not only for what they have achieved on the pitch, but for the way they have done it.

This team has truly been a ray of sunshine all season and a testament to what sport should be about - friendship, teamwork, resilience, development, laughter and creating memories together.

A wonderful group of girls, a fantastic coaching team, and an equally brilliant group of supportive parents.

Congratulations girls. You have absolutely earned this moment, and we cannot wait for next year!

FAQ

• All players, current, returning and new, must complete an EOI.

• Trials will be BY INVITATION for all age groups except U6 and U7. Trial invitations will be emailed by the end of September. Please ensure your email address is correct when you fill in your EOI

• We encourage girls to play in our female teams, but we understand some girls prefer mixed football. If your daughter would like to play in a mixed team, please complete the age appropriate boys EOI.

• If your child played up an age group in 2026, this does not automatically carry over to 2027. Play up assessments are completed each year, so please apply for your child's actual age group.

• Please be patient with email enquiries. With close to 1,000 EOIs expected, our team will need time to work through them all.
