After an incredible season of baseball, only two teams remain.

RUBBERDUCKS vs JACKALS

The Rubberducks earned their way straight through to the Grand Final, while the Jackals booked their spot with a dominant Semi Final performance.

Now they meet one final time with the 2026 WWBA Championship on the line! 🏆

What a start to the WWBA Final Series!

Congratulations to all four teams on a great day of finals baseball.

The Hornets have kept their first season alive, defeating the fighting Brahman Bulls 9–8 in a thrilling last second play. Unfortunately, that brings the Bulls’ season to an end, while the Hornets progress to the Semi Final.

In the other Preliminary Final, the Rubberducks defeated the Jackals 7–1, booking their place straight into the Grand Final.

For the Jackals, the season isn’t over yet. They’ll get another chance next week when they take on the Hornets in the Semi Final, with the winner earning the right to face the Rubberducks for the championship.

ROUND 19 – THIS SUNDAY

A reminder that due to the recent fixture changes, Rounds 19 and 20 have been swapped, and the Round 19 game times have also changed.

This Sunday's schedule is:

Game 1 – 11:30am Bulls vs Hornets

Game 2 – 2:00pm Rubberducks vs Jackals

Please make sure you're aware of the updated draw.

There will be no competition next weekend as our Wagga Wagga representative team heads to Blacktown to compete in the Country Championships.

We wish all of our players, coaches and officials representing WWBA the very best of luck. Play hard, enjoy the experience, and do Wagga proud.

6 of our player have been training since May to play in the country championship for the 31st of July - 2nd of August, good luck to our fellow ducks Josh Sarantakos, CJ Lang, Warwick Pethybridge, Alexander Cobb, Landon Hann and Sean Watkins 🦆
