9k run & 5k walk/run - Sunday 22 May 2011 7.30am for 8.30am race start - bring your whole family and enjoy a great day filled with Fitness and Fun!
An all new sporting event in Varsity Lakes with FITNESS & FUN for the whole FAMILY!! There will be an 9km run and 5km run/walk starting and finishing at Central Park... plus Fitness Testing, Come&Try Sports Expo, Treasure Hunts, Live Music and Face Painting making it a true community event!

Local music identity Guy “Mutto” Mutton will be the headline performer at the Varsity Lakeside Run For Fun next month.
The local schoolteacher shot to national prominence as a Season 4 Australian Idol finalist after a number of years fronting Gold Coast band Soulframe.
Gaining recognition from Idol judges for his distinctive vocal style as well as his unique name and cryptic hand messages, the Run For Fun will allow local fans to hear the Gold Coast singer / songwriter and witness his captivating personality.
