One week since Hyrox
3 mins between us and first place in our first crack at this event is nothing.
The competitor in me has already found time to shed without even starting training.
It’s been 10 years since I competed for Australia in Triathlon and I reaaaallllyy enjoyed being out there again pushing against myself and other athletes.
Reconnected with that side of me, and I like her. Even more fun that triathlon as this time I have a partner Suzanne Brown
Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve now we’ve had a glimpse of what’s possible.

Meet Suz - my awesome wing woman for Hyrox tomorrow.
Two days after this photo was snapped at turf games she asked me to be her partner for Hyrox.
I love this photo because seriously? look at it! - there’s nothing we couldn’t do. Watching closely, gauging the comp, focussed, supporting our team, and ready to take over any minute. Exactly what you want in a competitive partner - and friend.
But also because this ‘little engine that could’ wants more of this. With me!? Crazy coconuts - the both of us. And ready to roll.
So excited to see what we can achieve tomorrow Suzanne Brown and already thinking about the next one!!

She nearly didn’t make it to the start line.
She’s 52. She has balance issues, sensory sensitivities, wears glasses, and genuinely wasn’t sure her body could do this. She almost pulled out. More than once.
She didn’t.
She showed up, she worked hard, she got on that floor, and she absolutely rocked it.
Afterward she sent me a photo. This one. And said it was her favourite of the day.
“Love this photo, look at you cheering me on.”
That message wrecked me in the best way. Because THIS is why I do what I do.
If you’re sitting on the sidelines thinking it’s not for you, meet Tanya.
52, glasses, balance issues, serious self doubt at first - and then a clean squat Personal Best at Turf Games Sydney.

I nearly didn’t share this photo. My first thought was “bloody hell, I look old.”
Then I caught myself.
I’m 50f**king5. I’m at the bottom of a burpee on a competition floor. Eyes locked. Not giving up. And I made the highlights reel.
Age is just a number. It is not your script. 💪

Feeling a lot of gratitude and a big open heart today.
I’m grateful for so many things on their crazy life.
This boy who keeps smiling and heart big.
For a night in the mountains full of possibility and connection.
To my friends who make me laugh make me cry and hold me through it all.
To my daughters for riding the wave of the perimenopause adhd and dropping the mask at long last.
To my body, for healing, for growing and teaching me to listen. For carrying me, pushing me and allowing me to do all the things I want to do.
To my clients for keeping me inspired and curious.
Please share if you have some gratitude to enjoy and lean acknowledge. 🧡

Well that’s a nice way to end my second game back. It’s been a long wait and lots of work to get back on the netball court since hurting my back in July 24. But here we go. Back in centre. Back having fun on the court. And getting the prize!! 😜Giddyup.

May not be very pretty but bloody hell it’s been a fun week.
First game of netball since my back injury in 24. Soooo much fun to be back on the court. Centre baby 💪🏻🤩 Jarred finger didn’t slow me down… till after the game! 🤣
Practicing hang clean squats for upcoming turf games left me missing skin but all for the cause I say!! And for those extra 5kgs. 🤞🏻💪🏻🙏
