A solid week taking 7 points! The C grade kicked us off Wednesday night taking a point from the league leaders. The B grade had to grind out a tough 1-0 win but got the job done and the A grade took control in the second half to stretch their unbeaten run to 4.

Next week we have the 35’s on Friday night and a Reserves cup quarter final! 🏆

Congratulations to Luca Labbozzetta who will make his 100th appearance for the club this weekend.

When Luca first arrived in 2020, he was a reliable C Grade full back with hair like Sideshow Bob. Fast forward to 2026 and Luca has reinvented himself as a Reserves vice captain, one of the their key forwards and now he only acts like Sideshow Bob.

In his 99 games, Luca has:
🏆 Been part of the 2021 C Grade championship team ⚽ Scored 36 goals for the club
🥇 Won the 2024 B Grade Golden Boot
1️⃣ Scored a free kick at Salisbury Villa no one will forget

No one can deny that Luca is a great lad, a good laugh and his care free attitude is both infuriating and admirable.

Just the 2 games this weekend as the C grade played out a 1-1 draw Wednesday night.

Both the A’s and B’s will be heading up to Angle Vale with 6 points in mind!

Plenty of goals today at Pooraka as the C grade kicked us off with a dominant performance highlighted by a Dom Trimboli masterclass to help continue the C grades good form.

The B grade started well but unfortunately couldn’t hold on for a win.

The A grade put in arguably their best performance of the season, looking good from start to finish to claim 3 points at home!

Congratulations to both Ryan Andijanto and Roberto Antonelli who will both be making their 50th appearance for the club this Saturday as we take on the Adelaide Red Blue Eagles.

Ryan has been one of the standout performers in our B Grade side over recent seasons. A two-time consecutive Best & Fairest winner, as well as the recipient of the 2025 Players’ Player Award, Ryan’s commitment and consistency has made him a key figure at the club as he has arguably overtaken his older brother Josh’s extremely large shadow.

Rob reaches his 50-game milestone after being a dependable and valued member of our club, primarily in the both the C Grade and B Grade. Known for his work rate, determination and never-say-die attitude, Rob is the type of player every team loves to have. No matter the challenge, he gives everything for the badge!
